The Friday Restaurant
On Fridays all classroom lessons finish at 12h15 and you will then join the other students and some of the teachers for lunch at an excellent local restaurant. This lunch is included in your course fees and usually lasts from 12h15 to 15h30.
We currently use a variety of restaurants: some are within walking distance of school and some are in country areas a short coach drive from Kingsway, so if you are with us for a few weeks you will experience both.
Our teachers organise a seating plan so that everyone feels included and not tempted to speak their own language! The Friday lunch is always a very relaxed and friendly occasion - excellent food, excellent company and (if you want it) the wine is pretty good too!
After the Friday Restaurant you will return to school at around 15h30 and you are then free to join our supervised self-study session, work by yourself on your office work, or relax and go shopping.

The menus vary from one restaurant to another and one week to another, but the menu below is typical of the places we visit.
We try to give you a taste of good British cooking - which these days is very international and very good!
